Job Description
Global Engineering Partners is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our London office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing complex structures and managing projects from concept to completion.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of experience in structural design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent
- Experience with Revit, SAP2000, and other structural analysis software
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Lead structural design for complex commercial and residential projects
- Perform structural calculations and analysis
- Develop and review structural drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and other disciplines
- Mentor junior engineers and oversee their work
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards
- Participate in client meetings and presentations
